Installing Email Capture
Capturing new contacts and conversations out of your inbox and into organisational memory is as easy as CCing your CRM. Our Email Capture tool gives your CRM it’s own email address, so you can simply copy it in to emails just like a member of your team.
When your CRM receives an email, it looks at the To, From and CC fields and creates any contacts it doesn’t recognise, then adds a record of the email, along with any attachments to their timelines.
The Email Capture tool is only available on Pro and Team plans.
- To add Email Capture to your CRM, head to Tools & Settings > App Store.
- Select the Email Capture tool from the options and click Install, then click Proceed.
- The next page will show your CRM’s unique email address. We recommend that you set up an email address which is easy for your team to remember (eg. [email protected]) which auto-fowards to this address.
